LEFT-IN is conducting a world-wide survey to see how well left-handed students are supported in the classroom, or not. The survey is open to parents, schools, early learning centres and academics, exploring a wide range of topics including teacher understanding, skills development and resourcing.

LEFT-IN Founding Member, Mark Stewart, has collaborated with Dr Julien Grenier CBE for an article in the UK Times Educational Supplement.
The article discusses helping left-handed children in the Early Years Foundation Stage of the UK Education System.
LEFT-IN Member, Bipinchandra Chaugule, was recently asked by Bored Panda to comment on the everyday tasks and items that prove challenging for left-handers.
The Centre for Education Rights and Transformation, at the Faculty of Education at University of Johannesburg, at the African Left-Handers Foundation held the Harmony of Hands Indaba.
It was held on Tuesday 17th September 2024 and was very well supported both locally and internationally.
International Left-Handers Day falls on a Tuesday this year, 13th August. Celebrations and events are happening around the world!
